FUN ON THE 4TH...FINALLY!

We had a great fun filled fourth weekend. We started out on Thurdsay celebrating with friends at the opelika City Fireworks show and ended by celebrating with friends and family at the lake. Thomas learned to swim underwater while at the lake and is one little fish now! He LOVED the fireworks as you can tell from the fourth picture down. It was taken right as the first fireworks went off. He continued to say, "Wow, that's awesome!"

Thoughts from a Two Year Old...

Thomas was playing with my cell phone today and overheard him having a pretend (but very real sounding) conversation with his Uncle Mark.

"Hey Mark...how ya doing?"

"You in Birm um haaam (Birmingham)?"

"No you not?" "Ohhhhhh!"

"You at work?"

"Okay...see ya later. Bye!"

He is growing up WAY too fast! The things he talks about keep me grinning all day...what a difference just a few months makes!!!

Beach Trip 2009

A big thank you to the Bryant's for sharing their beautiful beach house with us once again! We were able to spend a whole glorious week in Carrilon earlier this June and Thomas loved the beach this time even more than last year! We had great weather and did not see the smallest cloud all week long!!! Our cousins were staying a short 5 minutes down the road so we got to play and eat with them almost every day.

This was taken right after we got on the beach the first day...he was ready for that ocean!

No fear of the waves at all!!!

We slept late and woke up with beach bed head

We lived in our swimming suits

Played in the sand

Wore crazy hats and sunglasses

Swam tons

Really enjoyed having our Daddy with us every waking moment!

Ate yummy seafood with our sweet cousins (minus baby Charlie)

Wore our sweet daddy out by wrestling all the time

Cooled off in the Rosemary Beach Fountains

Shared lots of hugs and smiles!!!

New Post, New Computer and a NAME!!!

I am so excited to be able to post at leas one new picture and some updated info since we finally got our new computer...yea!!! It's great and I have terribly missed having a computer in our home.

On another note, we have chosen a name for our sweet baby girl:

"Holland"Virginia Dilworth

Holland is my middle name and my great grandfather's first name and Virginia is for Michael's mom. It is so nice to be able to pray for this baby by name and Thomas is getting pretty good at pronouncing Holland as well. We hope she will be as sweet and easy going as her big brother below!

CRASHED...
Our computer that is...for the 4th time!!! We have the worst luck with home computers or the hard drives at least. This time instead of just replacing the hard drive, we are getting a whole new computer - YEA!!!!!

So that's why I have been MIA lately. We have been doing a lot of this (see pic below) and yes he is usually butt naked in the pool in our driveway. He is going to love me for this pic one day. I will have to show him all the ones I did not include...like the one where he is "watering the bushes."

Speaking of using the potty, it's all this little one wants to do! I think he tee-teed in the potty at least six times today and he can now make himself perform at anytime for the much desired M&M or skittle that he receives after he goes. I don't think I am ready for this yet!

Enjoy the one picture and hopefully I will have the new computer soon.

WE ARE TICKLED...

PINK...because it's a GIRL!!!!!!

We are thrilled! A little shocked but very excited. Pink is my new favorite color and I am afraid this little girl is going to break my little piggy bank!!! We brought home pink balloons and a big pink lollipop so that Thomas could celebrate the news too. Although he has said the whole time that he is going to have "baby sister" whenever asked, he was really just excited about the balloons and the tasty sucker he had just been given. Two things that are a sure fire way to his heart :) We told him that his baby sister wanted him to have them and that she could not wait to meet her big brother. His response, "No I not have baby sister...I have sucker!"
